Take a look, it's growing and changing every week. Now that things are back to as normal as they ever get around here, the boss (my wife) and I are planning our winter vacation. We are checking out cruises again this year. With luck, we should find a good one that will give us a chance to see some places in the Caribbean that we have not yet visited, and leave enough time over to visit my bud the mouse, Mickey Mouse that is *8>) Until next week, I hope that you enjoy today's article. Advertising Through ArticlesWriting targeted articles can be a very efficient method of advertising your professional services, the products you sell, or even to help you find a better job. The trick is to write a substantive article about a solution to an actual problem, about everyday life, or your own opinion on some topic of current interest. At the end of the article you should attach a short blurb or presentation on you or your business. Since this blurb must be very short (5 - 6 lines) you should always include a link to more in-depth information about yourself or your business. Publishing Your ArticleOnce you have a great article, no one is going to read it unless you get it in front of their face. The first thing you should do is post your article on your own web site and your blog. Once you have done this, search out sites that deal with similar material, and to which you can submit these articles for posting or for use by newsletter editors and other publishers. The only condition you should insist upon is that the site keep the article’s original form, including your blurb, without alteration. This will give you and your article more visibility and is exactly what you want. Don't stop here. Promote your article any and every legitimate way possible. Put a link to your article in the signature file at the end of all of your emails. If you have a database of your customers' emails, drop them an email pointing them to the article on your personal or professional web site. Why Write an Article?Even if you don't have experience with writing, here are some reasons for you to try your hand at writing articles:
How to Publish Your ArticleTo get an article published, it must contain mostly useful information with just a little bit of advertising. If you don't follow this rule, and load your article with advertising, you will probably end up with an un-publishable article, which you can then only put on your own web pages. There are some other things you can do with articles if you are willing to spend some money. There are different publicity sites, ranked high in search engines that will publish your article on their site for a limited period of time for a fee. The fee is not usually very high , and you can get much more visibility this way. If this choice is the one that appeals to you the most, you must make sure that your article is really good with a great deal of informative and interesting ideas, so that it can compete with all of the other articles on that site. Since the user can see them all at the same time, you must think of ways to make him choose to read yours. Ghost WritersIf you have tried and are not confident you can write a quality article on your own, you can always hire a professional ghost writer to do it for you. As long as you stipulate in the contract that you own all rights including the copyright to the article, you can publish as if you had written it yourself. There’s no time like the present to get started, so write that article. Get published. Reap the advertising that goes with a published article. By the time you read this article, I will have pushed it out to a number sites to get it into circulation. If you see this article on another web site, and it doesn't have my blurb, please let me know. Until next time… warmly, P.S. Did you check out the 7 Day eBook yet?
